DR. STEVE WEST | Lead Pastor
Steve has been in pastoral ministry for over ten years, and was the pastor of Madoc Baptist Church from 2004-2012.  In 2012, he was called to Crestwicke Baptist Church in Guelph.  He has published articles in Reformation and Revival, The Evangelical Baptist, Christianity.ca, The Sovereign Grace Journal, Sound of Grace, and the Gospel Witness, as well as authored or contributed to several books published by New Covenant Media. Steve has spoken at conferences and camps throughout Canada and the United States, as well as taught in Uganda and South Africa.  Steve is married to Heather, they have two children – Charlotte and Brooklyn.


REV. SAMUEL MCCALLUM | Pastor Emeritus
Sam was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but was raised right here in Guelph. He came to Crestwicke in 2007, initially as interim pastor. In the summer of 2008, the church decided to call him as their senior pastor. Sam is a well known figure in the Fellowship, having served as a pastor in churches both in Ontario and BC. In June 2010, Sam became Crestwicke’s first Pastor Emeritus, with primary responsibility for counselling. Sam is married to Lois, they have three grown children and five grandchildren.


Jesskah joined staff at Crestwicke in March of 2010, having attended the church since 2006. She came to Guelph to study Agriculture at the city’s university (quickly switching to a B.A. to study English & Music) and moved here permanently in 2005.  Jesskah has a deep passion for the Gospel and the Great Commission; for every person to see Christ clearly and have a vital, active walk with Him. As Music Director she desires to shape a Sunday morning service that allows people to clearly see Christ, freely praise God and humbly listen to the Holy Spirit.


SUSAN FRIESEN | Church Administrator
Susan came on staff at Crestwicke in 2003.  She is responsible for managing our office and administration.  Susan is originally from Belize, but now lives with her family in Guelph. Susan has three children, Duane, Melissa and Sylvia.
