A couple months ago we announced a church-wide survey for the Crestwicke congregation as part of a full church consultation the leadership had asked FEB Central to do here at Crestwicke. (You can see the original intro letter below, written by our Lead Pastor, RJ Umandap.)

Well, the results are in! On Sunday, May 25, 2025, our FEB consultation team of four, joined us for the morning service & post-service potluck + Q&A. Rick Buck preached (you can listen to that sermon here), followed by an overview of the survey results, presented by Mark Cuthbert & Rick Buck. Below we’ve included the audio of the consultation presentation, as well as a pdf summary of the slides. If you have any questions about this, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Original survey intro letter from Lead Pastor, RJ Umandap:

As we try to understand where God is leading us, it’s important to know where we are. Therefore, the Elders and Deacons have decided to avail ourselves of a service that FEB Central provides to member churches. We have invited them to assess our church and help us figure out how we’re doing. The total cost to Crestwicke will be only $300 for FEB to crunch the numbers.

Those of us 15 years old and up will have a part, since the consultation begins by consulting you. Whether you’ve been here forever or just arrived recently, we’re asking you to fill out a survey that would allow you to express your thoughts on what’s going on in the church. Your responses will be collated and compared with those of other Fellowship churches.

We encourage everyone to set aside an hour to fill out the survey prayerfully and thoughtfully so that we can make the most of this opportunity. The more respondents we have, the better picture we get of the church’s current situation. I realize we’re all tired of surveys, but this one is worth the effort. FEB Central sponsored a consultation at my former church in 2018 which helped us identify and implement changes we needed to make in order to move forward. I helped with another consultation last year, which produced results that the church really appreciated.

The FEB consultation team will meet with all of us on May 25 at our monthly potluck to give us their findings and recommendations. The results generally show five areas where the church is doing well, five areas of concern that need to be addressed, and five concrete actions that could help us move forward.

You can do the survey online from March 30 to April 13, so you can start praying and preparing your heart to respond to the questions. Consider it a part of your preparation for Easter. Those who prefer to answer on paper can pick up the survey form on March 23. You’ll need to return the survey by April 6 to give our volunteers time to input your responses. All surveys are anonymous, so I trust that we’d all participate and speak the truth in love because we want to be a real basecamp for believers and lighthouse for the lost.
